Roles and responsibilities:

• Working with the Programme Manager to assist with the conference of survivor's of human trafficking from Asia Pacific in March 2010
• Working with the Programme Manager to assist with the Annual Lecture by an eminent feminist scheduled for 26th March 2010
• Consolidating database for the events
• Media outreach
• Rapporteuring for the conference and the lecture
• Sending out emails for 'save the date' and subsequent circulation of event details for participation/audience
• Following up with participants/audience for the Annual Lecture
• Following up with media on participation
• Assisting with logistics of the event and on the day of the event
• Reporting and documentation post the event
   

Desired qualities
Fluent in Hindi and English

Interested in women's issues, human rights; Prior volunteering/interning experience would be beneficial but not a pre-requisite

Full time IT Volunteer until end of April 2010

Roles and responsibilities:

• Constant update on websites during the event
• Linking twitter to website
• Managing SMTP database and mailers
• Time bound emails to be sent out to keep pace with the events for March (3 important events)
   

Desired qualities
Knowledge of html, Drupal, PHP
